Birthday Cakes
No Gourmet Kids birthday party is complete without one of our special personalised cakes. We order your cake based on the number of guests, and we provide napkins, plates, spoons and candles – and excellent Happy Birthday voices as well! If you plan to share the birthday cake with the adults, we suggest that you upgrade to the next size. Below are only a few samples of our cakes on offer, to illustrste how the gel images will appear.
We currently offer 3 choices of cakes, which are very reasonably priced and detailed below. Each cake will be beautifully personalised with Happy Birthday your childs name and age, along with a decorated theme of your choice. When you are confirming your party details please dont forget to let us know your 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice of cake image or decoration.
Sponge Cakes
Fresh cream sponge cakes in either chocolate or vanilla. A small sponge is 7″ in diameter, which feeds up to 15 small serves and costs $27, a medium is 9″ in diameter, which feeds approx 20 small serves and costs $38, a large is 10″ in diameter, which feeds up to 25 small serves and costs $48, and an extra large is 11″ in diameter, which feeds up to 30 small serves and costs $58. Larger sizes are available upon request. When ordering a sponge cake, our supplier is able draw a large range of gel images on the top of your cake, however if you have a specific image in mind it is best to either post or email this image to us.
Ice cream cakes
Your choice of gel images is limitless and too extensive to list, (disney themes, animals, sport or abstract, as well as the ability to scan your childs photo and produce an edible image). Simply list 3 choices in order of preference, and we will do our best to achieve your first choice.
COLD ROCK ICE CREAM CAKES
With this supplier we have the ability to print images – a photo of the birthday child or their favourite character or image (providing no copyright restrictions) onto an edible rice paper along with their happy birthday greeting. You may select upto 3 flavours – 1 flavour per layer, and a list of flavours will be added shortly.

CAROUSEL ICE CREAM CAKES
Ice cream cakes are made with a marbled chocolate and vanilla ice cream with a chocolate biscuit crunch layer in the centre.
- Pictures and writing are decorated with Piping Gel which doesn’t contain gelatine.
- There are no eggs in the cake
- For gluten free cake order a cake without the chocolate biscuit crunch.
