Unique children’s parties and cooking lessons in Melbourne

Gourmet Kids Parties and Cooking lessons give kids an exciting opportunity to experiment with food - and they won’t get into trouble for making a mess in our kitchen!Children love to dress up in our chef’s hats and aprons to create a delicious recipe under instruction from our kitchen crew. They use an individual set of equipment for preparing and baking our recipes, and are given as much or as little assistance as they need.

Our Children’s Parties are fun and action-packed, with something to do from the minute the guest of honour and friends arrive until the moment they leave. This includes a cooking session, birthday treats in our party room and hosted musical games to conclude the party.

Both the Children’s Parties and Cooking Lessons are highly creative, combining art and cooking. We can also create themes for your child’s party if you have special requests.

Our recipes are delicious and educational, and children talk about the fun they had and their experience in our kitchen for years to come.

We have a wide range of young cooks’ merchandise for sale. Memorabilia is also available, including personalised aprons, mugs, photos and fridge magnets. These make a great reminder of your child’s birthday.

Our venue in Malvern, in Melbourne’s inner east, is very colourful and attractive. It is designed particularly for children’s parties and cooking lessons. These sessions suit children from the ages of 2 to 15, and there is a range of recipes to choose from depending on the age of your child.

Children are encouraged to be independent at a Gourmet Kids party or cooking lesson; this gives them a sense of achievement and boosts their self-esteem. Younger or not so confident children are offered assistance to ensure the end product is something they can be proud of.
